Yes, yes, yes - from Cottbus straight to Żary...
Had a last banana, muesli bar and pee on German ground.
Polish/German borders look pretty much always the same - zigaretten, plastic dwarfs and wicker baskets - for demanding customers.
I was really afraid that I'll be killed on polish roads in about 10 minutes after joining traffic - but not, it was actually quite a pleasant ride to Żary - it was Sunday though...
What was significant is that one is quite often reminded about the story of Jesus and his cross and it seems that Carp is popular not only on Christmas :)
My arrival to Żary was rather spectacular (at least for me) - proper polish welcome haha
I was lucky to be hosted by Przemek who was actually MCing (?) local fest there, therefore I was treated quite special haha
I think I had three beers before I even manage to collect my thoughts after the ride...all in vouchers which was really cool. From shepherds and blacksmiths to home made jams - everything was there.
Next step was Lubin, well not really Lubin but it doesn't really matter - I had a nice time there and was nearly eaten by Filet haha
Anyway, It was really close to the final destination so I was getting quite exited and decided to cycle on quite a busy road - that was an experience... probably the most stressful 90 kilometres I have ever had - but I have made it alive haha
I saw the new football stadium in Wroclaw but to be honest I couldn't care less and it actually looks like a massive toilet roll (not my idea though). I've never seen so much concrete - fuck, it's not nice at all and gives strange feeling.
It was the most boring blog post ever - next one is going to be spectacular !!!
Ok - I have made it to Rozrusznik - final destination :)
tbc...
