gemütlich

I have made so much progress :) even the first check point is ticked…

Next stop was Halle if I remember correctly - city full of cobbles.
I went there to cinema and watched Avengers (?) in German which was quite amusing…they like to trash cities in some American films - in this one whole New York was destroyed. But when it happens in real…
Alibaba take away was really nice and funny - and they serve good falafel there.
Thanks to Julia I had sushi for breakfast !!!

Wow, it was so long ago that I'm having troubles to remember things.
Since I left England it wasn't raining even for a day - nice one - but it was/is really hot and the cycling tan is already there haha

Next stop was really small village where pizza was made !!! The highlight though was old school toilet - it's been years since I sat on one of those :) I spent nice time there playing with rabbits, ducks and horses.

I was complaining about roads but It was my ignorance only as I just didn't know where to cycle haha but after meeting Sven and Dorothee - http://www.auf-radreise.de/ -  things have changed…Really inspiring there!!!

Then Cottbus…but before I had to drink beer...

Well, I'm nearly there :)

REVIEV - Giro Tessa ladies gloves - super cool gift from Damian - survived years and gave me half finger tan :)

No more Prozac junge!!!

It's been a while since I have written something which according to Tata Heju means that I'm overdoing Prozac ha - so no more Prozac - EPO only please from now on!!!

Ok, from Osnabruck, which was miles ago, I went to Steyerberg... I normally pick places randomly on map and this one was quite a place :)
It turned out to be some sort of a eco village + hippy stuff + zen centre + really nice and open minded people.
I spent there 3 nights - the longest stop I made on this trip - chatting about permaculture, buddhism, plants,  kindergarten, trees, food, energy haha
Really enjoyable stop! And hanging out with Corinna was nice. I even watched some Giro haha
Anyway, most of the time I was busy doing 'nothing'....

After eating lentils and porridge (please pray to porridge) I left and cycled to small village when I met really nice couple who are crazy about Canada :) it was short, one night stop but I really like German country side and some country music in background :)
People here really like horses and crazy stuff - don't understand German yet but getting there slowly!!!

Blogger is really annoying!!!!

Hmm, I have cycled over 1000km so far and it's really cool - kinda don't remember loads from what has happened or at least I don't remember the order :)

I think after that I went to Braunschweig and from there to Magdeburg where again I met cool people - mostly students this time and had good time. I even watch football after years of not watching -  Chelsea-Munich - hmm I don't think I can like football again haha I still enjoyed the game though and cannot wait to see European Cup !!!
Braunschweig was 'good looking' place but as I crossed the former DDR border things changed instantly...specially roads are mega shit and loads of cobbles!!!
Landscape and architecture is similar to Polish one - wow I'm already scared to experience real 'polish' haha

For some time I thought  that I'm the only fan of Lycra in Germany but as soon as landscape changed to hills and steep gradients then the Lycraman has appeared - overtaking me, unfortunately.
So, some climbs are quite steep but I'm not afraid of them as I climb like a pro although still didn't shave legs!!!

Hmm, I have probably missed loads of stuff but, never-mind...
Ah, I met Aaron - big man with big heart from California in middle of nowhere in east germany - random stuff is happening here haha
He runs really cool place in Hecklingen - stop by if you there - and he is always happy to host people and offer them pizza and some work to do if you like :) wow and he has got big feet !!!

Forgot to tell that Aaron is testing different toppings :) I had mushrooms and rice and banana/pineapple curry - WOW

What else before one of the famous reviews...
I'm slowly getting cyclist tan and pro legs and weight :) show you later though.

REVIEW:
DeFeet Merino Base Layer - amazing, does the job perfectly and can be worn for three days without washing and making you stink like a pro :)

I must really like all those haha's  haha

freddie vs phil

Unexpected stuff is happening and I'm really happy about it :)

I stayed in Münster for two nights - it's such a nice place with so many bicycles - rally cool how cars, bikes, pedestrians, dogs and other creatures can move together without swearing, honking, spitting - paradise haha
Again didn't take too many pictures... but met (again!!!) some lovely people there :)

From Münster I went to Osnabrück, half cycling half on the train. The girls who were checking tickets were really nice... I did manage though to upset the lady who sat next to the bike which was slowly rolling towards her - I was not bright enough to use German bicycles belts - anyway she left to find another sit clearly unhappy.

I'm quite sure that I have already been to Osnabrück - slept in the woods ;) - about 10 years ago, when half of Kenczaki went for the epic hitchhiking trip to make loads of guldens in Netherlands - unfortunately  I didn't make any.
I happen to be there during Maiwoche (?) , being shown around by Hayley - thanks for the hat!!!
It was quite amazing to see Queen and Phil Collins performing the same night :) have to say that Phill is quite overweight at the moment but Freddie kicks asses!!! MEGA STUFF - can't prove it as I forgot to take camera again...

Ah, I always thought Germans are quite an eco bunch, so seeing this type of train was terrifying !!! ;)

Didn't shave my legs which means that I cannot review the razor or shaving cream but I can review something else. Today it is:

CASTELII LYCRA (in any form or shape) - very, very nice ;)

Have you ever tried to pee while cycling?

Silky Smooth

Hola
I'm still cycling and still find it amazing :) have made it to Münster yesterday - German cycling paradise.
Landscape has change a bit in Germany; more pine trees, insects and hills around, which is actually quite nice. All those insects and other bits like to travel on my legs so I though about shaving them haha like a real cyclist and maybe to get in touch with my feminine side - I don't think I'll do this though.

For two nights I stayed with Blandine - another mega kind Couch Surfer -  and she leaves in old bunker converted to housing - nuclear attack proof ;)
She showed me around Cologne which I really liked and saw first hipsters in quite a long time !!!

Hmm, I didn't know that Christian priests have their own trendy shops where they can buy all new accessories needed to look good ;) I have came across one in Cologne and was really impressed although wasn't brave enough to get inside...

It didn't tell the prices...

Anyway, back to the serious matter - this is what they sell in Cologne too; I tried one before and I'm sure it feels better than all the cool stuff (was going to call this junk, but it could offend some people) from the shop above...

I was also hosted by very kind and generous Schalke fans in Marl -  Jens and Iris :) it was really interesting experience.

Do you think eating around 1kg of bananas a day is actually good for the body?

Anyway can't be bothered to write no more - now, time for the review :)

Topeak Mountain Morph Pump - WOW!

Spotty nose:

Prince of The Jungle

Haven't written anything for quite a long time - it was so interesting and busy that I couldn't be bothered. I've made it to Germany now, quite close to Dutch border though - it was difficult to say in which  country I was for last couple o days :) From Eeklo I went to Antwerp and had really good time there - don't remember what happened on my way there though - but I'm sure it was flat and it wasn't raining :) I keep forgetting to take more pictures with my little camera; maybe one of the reason is that I'm now a King that is welcomed with flowered tarmac everywhere he goes haha

It looks like they dress the coffee in a special way as soon as they feel energy of my arrival !!!
This time I'm not gonna be talking that much about Couch Surfing, as again it was much, much beyond my expectations.
Gotta say something about Antwerp ;) I was told by Krzysiu & Iwonka to go and see the Jewish part of the town. Well, we went there with Yannine to check it out and we found this bakery where pretty much everything looked like in bakeries in Poland. We decided to attack cheese cake that looked amazing; the lady cut two pisces and said 9.60€ - WOW - nuts!!! The cake was good though :)

I also met other couch surfers that introduce me to complicated world of Belgium beer - pretty much the same game as French play with their wine - after the second beer I was quite out of the game haha

Ah, I had my first souvenir from the trip and it's clod Mombasa ;) it's cycling jersey that I bought and at the same time (hopefully) become the member of this bar cycling team :) cool
Other stuff happened in Antwerp i guess...

I left with loads of bananas and Knoppers from Aldi :)
Again it was mega flat and I forgot what happened on the way except people here like to have some strange animals like zebras, pandas, dragons, polar bears, penguins - maybe not all of them.

I arrive to Eersel - small town close to Eindhoven and spent there really, really good time - another mega cool Couch Surfer.
The Eersel experience was quite different then other places. I don't know how to write about it, but maybe I could tell later somehow. It was really beautiful!

Coffe here is slightly different. For last couple of months I lived with Italian people which means around 5 espressos a day - had to stop this as my eyelid started to twitch too much. Last time I was given a bit of Advocat to go with my coffee - luxury!

As I said before I'm in Germany and I don't really plan this trip too much anymore - I'm actually being invited to some random places that I'll probably visit. Yesterday I went to America for a bit ;) nice and sunny but one cannot get coffee there on Mondays - I had to leave then.

Hmm, now, there is (probably) only Germany left to cycle before I hit Poland, which will take quite a long time, and hopefully will be flat. I don't really want to pray for new chainset anymore :)

I slept in a bunker tonight !!!

REVIEW OF THE DAY: DeFeet Woolie Boolie socks - as far as I'm aware there is no better socks on the planet - GENIUS!!!

Cabbage Heads

It took around 120km from Dunkerque to Eeklo, small city in Belgium. Roads are mega flat and smooth in here and cycle lanes are everywhere :)
It was really pleasant day of  cycling with some strange happenings and landscape haha
Booo, cannot write today - I'll try anyway haha

Eeklo was the place when I stayed for two nights and again Couch Surfing is such an amazing idea !!!
I cannot really say how beautiful Tineke is - people like her don't happen too often...

There is really strange legend going in Eeklo about re-baking your own head if you don't like it  haha my nose is getting quite spotty because of the sun, so I'm thinking about a little re-bake :)

Wow, no need for waterproofs for two days!

Ah, when I was staying at Tineke's we met Mark - the man who is actually walking from Cardiff to Moscow at the moment and his daily budget is 1 euro - so next time think again before you say that you fuck the system haha

Belgium beer is so so good that even 'penguins' like to enjoy them ;)

People in Belgium are quite in to cycling so even older ladies know who Tom Boonen is - do you? They also like their fries which are fried two times in here and there is loads of action going while preparing them.

Don't have any serious stuff to write about except I do have to say that I really enjoy it and I'm not sure if I'll be able to stop now haha
I wasn't offer the job in St. Pancras so I can relax and pedal for as long as I want - first time for a long time I don't have a feeling of wasting time even though I don't do anything more than hanging out :)

Tomorrow I'm off to Netherlands - it will be fourth country in one week haha

REVIEW of the day: GT85 - awesome stuff

Well, now I'm going to drink more beer with the girls !!!

I'm in Antwerp now.
